This is an introductory level seminar that covers the basic concepts of Demand Response, what is Automated Demand Response (ADR), when and why ADR is called, and the life cycle of an ADR project.

After taking this course, Demand Response (DR) vendors and contractors will have a fundamental understanding of SDG&E’s Technology Incentives (TI) program and how to prepare their projects for success.
Dennis Rowan has worked with SDG&E, SCE, and PG&E ADR program managers providing program development and implementation assistance as well as training for utility staff, customers, and vendors. He has installed and/or verified the installation of more than a thousand ADR systems across the state. His experience spans a broad range of manufacturers and he has developed a unique understanding of the various ADR systems.
David Pruitt has 17 years of experience in energy efficiency serving both private clients and the major utilities in California (PG&E, SCE, and SDG&E). Mr. Pruitt has completed energy audits for these utilities in the Commercial, Industrial, Agricultural and Institutional sectors.
